The Swar Jhankaar Sangeet Vidhyalay was started by Mr. Morganan in February 2011. This was in his mind since he came to new Zealand that there should be a school of music, Language and Culture. He started to teach Hindi language to adult students in the Vishwa Shaanti Asshram. Slowly he looked forward to teach small children. The Hindu herritage research Foundation than with the help of Rajnesh and Bhed Prasad started the classes in Hindi, Harmonium, Tabla and Mehdi Classes. We are still working with Aorere Colloge where we get funding from the ECE.
He started this expedition since than and this year he met Mandeep Singh a Tabla Player from the Dasmesh Gurudwara. He with the effort of Gurpreet Singh Kandola he met Bhajneek singh Taaj. Taaj has got a Masters in Music so Taaj offred his assistance to start a school and they named the school as Swar Jhankaar Sangeet Vidhyalay.
The School started off very well and today it is running well. Students are always short and there is places available all the times. The school runs every Sataurday and Sunday at Acacia Court in Kolmar road in Papatoetoe.
The school is planning to get a class of thirty students and liaise with the India school of Sangeet to have the students get assessed.

Harmonium Classes 11:00 am — 12:00 pm (Sunday)
